Glass, enamel and ceramics become radiant through controlled heat, atmosphere and cooling—processes that often remain invisible in a finished object.
Kiln work depends on temperature, duration, atmosphere and cooling, not simply on dramatic flame. A finished colour may record chemistry more than the appearance of the firing.
Bubbles, streaks, iridescence and local reduction can carry process information. They should not automatically be framed as either defects or proof of spontaneity.
Raku, stained glass, lusterware and enamel use distinct materials and sequences. Similar glow does not make their techniques interchangeable.
